Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has expressed admiration for Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican presidential candidate.

In response to a snippet of Ramaswamy’s interview on Tucker Carlson’s Tucker on Twitter podcast, Musk said:

“Vivek Ramaswamy is the youngest-ever Republican presidential candidate. He is a very promising candidate.”

Ramaswamy is gaining recognition for his outspoken views on digital finance and cryptocurrencies, advocating for a robust crypto ecosystem within the United States.

During the Bitcoin 2023 conference in Miami, Ramaswamy announced that his campaign would accept Bitcoin contributions, marking him as the second contender in the 2024 U.S. election race to embrace BTC.

At the event, he introduced a QR code leading to a donation portal, offering diverse contribution options and exclusive nonfungible tokens for qualifying donors within the $6,600 limit.

This strategic move aligns Ramaswamy with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the first U.S. presidential candidate to embrace Bitcoin donations. Such actions underscore the growing influence of cryptocurrencies in shaping the future financial landscape.

Ramaswamy’s increasing popularity has brought him into close proximity with fellow Republican Ron DeSantis, the Bitcoin-supportive Governor of Florida.

However, his political journey is not without some challenges.

He currently faces legal actions from former employees of Strive Asset Management, a firm he co-founded. The ex-employees allege that they were coerced into violating securities regulations during their tenure at the company.
